Mufti Abdul Qayum Khan Hazarvi is one of Pakistan’s renowned scholar on Shariah and Islamic Sciences. He completed his Dars-i Nizami in 1965 from Jamia Naeemia. He is a Sunni Hanafi Maturidi Islamic scholar. Onwards after his Dars-i-Nizami he served in many Madaaris and also started Aftaa. He was engaged with Jamia Naeemia, Jamia Siddiquiya Siraj ul Uloom, Dar-ul-Uloom Hizb-ul-Ahnaaf, and Jamia Jamatia from 1965 to 1988. Since August 1989, Mufti Muhammad Qayum Hazarvi is leading the Jamia Islamia Minhaj ul Quran as Sadar Dar-ul-Aftaa. As a writer, he has written many books, research articles and also supervised hundreds of sharia students for their Islamic research. He also lead the team of Muftis of www.thefatwa.com which answer online questions for Shariah rulings.
